Learning is most effective when you engage the mind as well as the heart. Designing such experiences requires taking a holistic approach to examine the various factors that may influence how learners perceive new ideas, feel about the situation and perform new behaviours. The final result should be relevant, elegant and sustainable.
Taking a human-centred approach, I design learning experiences and content to support the acquisition, integration and application of new knowledge and skills. Examples include online courses, elearning simulations, job aids, resources, curriculum development and more.
One of the best ways to clarify a complex process is to map it out visually. Visualizing data can allow the audience to discover obscure patterns and relationships. Examples include infographics, process maps, diagrams and information architecture.
Writing about a particular subject that requires direction, instruction, or explanation doesn’t have to be dry and boring. While it’s most important that the writing is clear, concise and well-structured, it can also stir the heart and inspire the audience. One way to do that is through storytelling.

It not just about making things look pretty. Well-designed graphics support comprehension and help create a better user experience. They also impact how people feel about the information and your organization. This involves setting the right tone and aligning with the brand identity.
